An invitation to partners who share our mission

We’re building something simple and a little radical: a way for mission-aligned organizations to pay each other for services without letting value leak out of the community. We call the unit of that exchange a podCOIN — and we’d like you to help us put it to work.

A podCOIN is value that circulates inside a trusted network of partners. Instead of every exchange settling in cash and disappearing, partners agree to accept tokens for the services they provide and to spend tokens on the services they need. Because the coins only flow between organizations whose missions align, the currency does more than move money. It keeps value circulating where it does the most good — and grows the capacity of everyone in the network. That’s what we mean by regenerative.

podCOINai is the new face of LoudFeed, Inc., and we work hand-in-hand with our nonprofit partners to make sure the model lifts real people, not just balance sheets. We’re not trying to build a moat around our corner of the world. We’re trying to build bridges between yours and ours.

How it works today: tokens that teach

The first place podCOINs are already alive is in our learning platform, where tokens are wired right into how courses and certificates work. It’s the clearest picture of the whole idea, so let’s start there.

• Teachers earn tokens by issuing certificates. When a teacher guides a student through a course and issues the certificate that confirms they finished, the teacher earns podCOINs. Teaching is rewarded in the same currency the network runs on.
• Students pay with cash or tokens. A learner can enroll with ordinary money or by spending podCOINs they’ve already earned. This is the bridge between the cash world and the token world: newcomers buy in with cash, and people already active in the network spend what they’ve earned.
• Students become teachers. Once a learner has earned the certificates that prove they know a topic, they’re qualified to teach it. They cross from the demand side of the network to the supply side.
• Teaching funds more learning. The tokens a new teacher earns can be spent on more advanced courses for themselves. The same person is both a learner and a teacher, and the coin is what lets that value recirculate.

Every step in this loop is work our mission values — learning and teaching — and the token rewards exactly that work. Cash enters at the edges; inside the network, value moves as podCOINs, so it stays in the community and compounds.

Scholarships that go further

The token rail also gives philanthropy a sharper, more accountable instrument. Rather than donating cash that disperses, a supporter can fund scholarships denominated in podCOINs, awarded to students who meet criteria the donor cares about — a specific community, an income threshold, a priority subject.

Donations that need to be tax-deductible flow through our affiliated 501(c)(3), the Broadband Institute Foundation. Those funds back a pool of podCOINs reserved for scholarships, and qualifying students receive tokens they can spend on courses — removing the cash barrier to entry. Because scholarship recipients enter the same learn-and-teach loop, a single gift doesn’t just pay for one course; it seeds a participant who can go on to teach and regenerate value for others. And because every token movement is recorded, donors get transparent evidence that their gift reached the right students and produced real outcomes.

Why this matters for your organization

Education is our proof of concept, not our limit. The same pattern works for any service two mission-aligned organizations might exchange:

Accept tokens for the services you provide. Spend tokens on the services you need. Transact with partners who share your mission.

As more partners join, the network of services priced in podCOINs widens — and every new partner makes the currency more useful to everyone already in it. Peer production of profitable, community-owned value, built on responsible AI and shared purpose.
